What do you do with over 30 years experience in the financial services industry and front-line sales?

I just wanted to wish you the absolute best in your new adventures, which hopefully includes a lot of time lounging at the lake. You were an amazing leader for me, because you both trust people and give them room to grow. That’s an amazing skill and it was a great example to me to try and imitate as I moved into leadership. Thanks so much and all the best.

You have always made time to say “hello” or stop and chat with me over my career here, even when we were not in the same department and that meant a lot to me. You are truly a people-first leader and I have lots of memories from when your team would tell me all the cool things they did because of the culture you led. I always appreciated your sense of humour, and down-to-earth approach – those are the things I’m trying to include in my own leadership style – thanks for being a good role model for me. When I look back, I don’t remember the work, but I remember the people, and you are definitely one I will remember for a long time.

You always had our backs and encouraged us every step of the way. You’ve had a big impact on all of us, helping us think strategically, stick to the facts/data and ask good questions. Your impact on the marketing function will be felt long into the future. But your impact on each individual is what really matters. You are a class act.

I just wanted to say that it has been an absolute pleasure working under your leadership. You’re someone I look up to, someone who not only inspires with forward thinking leadership, but also with kindness. You’ll do great no matter where the next (cruise?) ship take you. You’ll be very missed.
